About us

Our Vision

To see the release of new life and hope through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit in church and in our lives.

What we do

We're a friendly bunch from a variety of cultures, and we heartily welcome you to join us!

We also have visitors from other parts of the globe who join us for the sermons which are live-streamed on Youtube from a little before 12 noon on Sundays.

Through the week we meet for fellowship in homes - please see the newsletter for up-to-date information.

Our Community

New Life Community Church is a family of believers in Jesus Christ, who come from many parts of the world. Our love for him is the foundation of our love for each other, and for our 'neighbours' - those we come into contact with, both far and near.

Our Facebook page will give you further insights into our activities.

Leadership Team

Pastors Joey & Abbie Hancock

Joey and Abbie are married with a baby son called Noah. They have a passion for pastoring - coming alongside people and helping them to become more like Jesus and equipping them to do His work. They also love being involved with youth work, community outreach and fellowship.

After ministering in Weston-Super-Mare for a few years during their training, they have moved to Crewe excited to be a part of what God is doing in the town.

Our Elders

Janice Clarke

I am the Finance Officer - being a retired maths teacher helps! Most of my life has been involved in church activities, mainly children’s work and adult small groups.  I am a widow with 4 grandchildren who keep me young at heart. I love gardening, watching my plants grow, and especially eating the produce!

Claude Chimhandamba

I am a secondary school teacher. I enjoy working with the youth and building their relationship with Christ, especially during our meetings on Sunday mornings. I enjoy taking part in the Life group, the worship band, and I also lead the prayer meetings.

Linda Tomkinson

I have been a member of New Life  Church in Crewe for over 20 years I am on the leadership team, but my passion is for children’s work, and I have been working with the children for many years. I am a reception teacher at a local school and also help at a homeless shelter.

Elim

The church is part of the Elim Pentecostal Churches of Great Britain and Ireland. The word Elim means ‘a place of refreshing’.

See www.elim.org.uk for more details.

Churches Together

New Life Community Church is also part of Churches Together in Crewe. This group represents most of the main churches in the area where both clergy and laity meet together to consider ways in which we can bring a united message and Christian values to the local community

Love Crewe

We are also members of the Love Crewe organisation, that began in 2016 to show people “how much Jesus loves this town, and the people who live here.”
